The First Judicial District of Pennsylvania is the largest judicial district in the state with an overall mission to deliver fair, timely and accessible justice to the County of Philadelphia. The Office of Human Resources serves the District through the management of positions, employee development through education and training, policy enforcement and review, and administration of employee compensation and benefits for the entire workforce. In addition, since Human Resources also has a great deal of contact with the public, the importance of conveying a positive image of the District while building and maintaining public trust and confidence continues to remain a priority of our Department.
